Well, one more project is checked off of Mike's honey-do list. We bought all the stuff to make floating night stands. We have a small space, so we couldn't put real night stands up, but wanted lamps. So here was our solution. I think it looks nice. Might need to paint the shades (they are a paper type shade), but I'll decide on that later. I'm still trying to figure out how to minimize the electrical cords from the lamps. Have to think on that one. :)
