Happy Halloween!!!!

Halloween Golbins...

Every year we head over to my sister's house and go trick or treating. We didn't get any pics of them in action because it was sopping wet. Rained on us the whole time, but Carver still got lots of candy and had a blast. Him and Kaylee are fairly good friends. They held hands the entire time going door to door. Don't ask about the camo hat. No point in trying to reason with a 3
year old about fashion! Hahahaha!

A Boy and His Kitty....

Meet Maizy. She's our newest addition (can never have too many mouse hunting barn cats in our area). She's about 6 weeks old now. But Carver absolutely loves her. Most kids have dogs they play with, but Carver plays with Maizy. He takes her down the slide, plays in the sand box with her, throws her in the dump truck, takes her on bike rides, etc. They cat just adores him. Here are some pics of those two playing together. :)

Pumpkin Carving

Got the pumpkins carved on our own homegrown pumpkins (9 plants later, we had plenty to choose from). I tend to stick to more traditional jack-o-lanterns. So I did a scary face this year. Carver wanted a ghost. That killer pumpkin is done by yours truely. :) Mike decided to go with Mickey Mouse this year.

High Point Award

Chase won the IMHC High Point Performance Horse for 2010. He got this snazzy looking blanket. I was pretty proud of him as I've done all the training on this horse. Carver will do quite a bit of showing with him next year. But here those 2 are modeling.

Whites Valley Dog Trial

Mike has gone and watch dog trials with his friends who compete for the last year. He decided to try it. Did okay. His dog needs more work and training, but I think he had fun non the less. We made an overnight camping trip out of it. Here are a couple pics are friends snapped as of course, we forgot our camera.

Harvest Time....

So I finally got my butt outside and got the barn and the front of the house decorated with straw, pumpkins and scarecrows. It hasn't felt like fall, but its already October! We had a bunch of pumpkins this year. Mike thought that he should plant like 9 pumpkin plants! Had them everywhere!!!
