Hairy Horse Show
My mini horse clubs helped host a hairy horse show on Saturday. I went to help out, but decided I had to play around on some of the games. So here's Kirby and me running barrels. We did them in 30 seconds, but got second (lost by 2 seconds). Guess Kirby's little legs are just too short for speed! Hahahaha! But we had tons of fun!
Kite Time!
We decided to pull Carver's kite out and let him fly it the other night. Things were going well until Carver decided it was time for him to do it himself. He managed to let it go once and it caught on something before it took off. Then it got tangled in 2 trees. Needless to say, he had fun and we did manage to salvage the kite so that he could have another go round with it later on.

More Money Please?
Carver has figured out what money is. Must of learned it from his father I guess. Anyways, he found our penny stash and has been "stashing" a few in his pant pockets. Then he hits the side of his pants, it jiggles and he says "money". As I'm typing, he's running down the hall listening to his jingle. At least he doesn't know the difference between a penny and a quarter yet!

Finished my Second Website:
I just finished Denni's Website for her. Thought it turned out pretty cute. I did hers in HTML code. I'm working on learning CSS and will re-do my pony website in that code for a more "proffessional" look. But check it out. And if you know anyone looking to get a website done, send them to me. I'm still learning and hope to do a few more before advertising to do it on a regular basis.

Backyard Update:
Mike and his brother extended the sprinkler system on Friday. It all works and good to go! And they spread out all that dirt Mike brought in too. The path to the barn got laid and the fire pit layout (sorry, didn't get a pic of the fire pit). And Carver has been there helping every step of the way! Mike's working them so hard, even the dog can't keep up! Hahaha!!!
Easter at the Kinghorn's:
Carver mad and tired. He was on a sugar high that morning:Carver and Parker having fun on the slide:

Things that make you go hmmmm.....???
Well, since I'm busy now that the weather has picked up, the pics have slowed down. And there are days when I spend hours in front of the computer at work (yeah!). Anyways, I thought I'd fill the void of the length between posts with installments of things that make you go hmm....?? Here's the first edition. Enjoy!
-Only in America ......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
-Only in America.....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
-Only in America.....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
-Only in America......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
-Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
-Only in America.....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
EVER WONDER ... Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?
Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?
Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?
Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Our Backyard
So Mike has taken a short break from the kitchen (and I sure hope it is a short break) and started working on the backyard getting ready to seed it. He's torn down the wood shed and put the dog kennel where that was, tore out the crappy fence around a half moon yard that was here, picked up rocks and brought in dirt. Him and Rob are going to work on extending the sprinkler system this week and putting in our pathway to the barn. Then he can plant and hopefully we'll have a yard soon enough for Carver to play in.
This is For Rob...

Happy Birthday Carver!!!
Carver turned 2 years old today. Time sure does fly by!!! I told him that 2 years ago, this was the longest day of my life. He just smiled and laughed! Guess we can't send him back now! Hahaha! Happy 2nd Birthday Carver! We love you!!!
These pics are of Carver enjoying his gift from us. He loves Mike's tools and always tries to help. So we decided to get him his own tool work bench. He's been playing with them for about 2 hours straight now. I think we got the perfect gift!
Help!!!
