Memorial Day show

We had a blast! Carver did pretty good for it being his second show. He was more comfortable to go out in the ring and show off. Chantico has turned out to be a pretty good little horse for him. I did good. Not much modern shetland competition, but we had a hell of a supreme class. Bugs came home with 2 supremes (champion of champions class). So I was proud. He did alright for his first time driving at this show. A little naughty. But that's to be expected for a super green horse like him. Paul was a trooper and pulled through as usual with wins. I had fun. Now back to practicing for our next show in July.

Butt Paste???

So I was taking a shower and Mike was watching Carver. I get done, walk out and Carver has white stuff all over his forehead. I ask Mike if he was watching Carver and he said he hasn't left his sight. And I say, Oh, really? What's this all over his head? So Carver goes and gets what he was putting on (which he said was lotion...). But thought it was pretty funny. Guess he won't get a diaper rash there.

Will someone please remind Mother Nature that SPRING is suppose to be here???

Carver's First Show

Carver had his first show of the season. He did good. A bit scared to go out into the arena, but warmed up to the judges by the time the costume class rolled around. He was super excited to get ribbons!
