Our New Puppy!

Mike surprised me with a puppy for Christmas. We named him Boomer and he's a porkie (yorkie/pom cross). He's finally getting use to the high speed pace of our house. Got to go out for the first time this morning and help feed the horses. Not sure what to think there, but he should fit in just fine at our place. :)

We spent Thanksgiving at Mike's parents house. Carver had fun playing with his cousin Parker.

Here Comes the Snow!!!

I can say, I'm just not ready for snow. We've had a few day storms that blew in some snow, but then it was melted quickly. Another storm has blown in today. Guess I should go find the snow boots and prepare. But this storm blew in fast! You can't really see from the pics, but the snow was flying in!

Carver's New Ride...

Here's Carver new ride. Its like a cadillac in the cart world! Heehee! Got it yesterday and just hurried and hitched Chase up tonight to see how it rode. Way comfy!

Winter Riding...

Carver went and got his hat and gloves and had me put them on him. Then he rode his pony. Guess he figured since there was snow outside, he needed to bundle up to ride. Hahahahaha!

Potty Training...

Carver has been doing pretty good on his potty training. We let it be his idea and he gets a treat in the end (we gave up and started bribing with candy, but nothing else seemed to spark it). So tonight, we were in the basement and he had to go. Generally he runs upstairs, but I have a smaller seat for the bathroom downstairs also. We just told him to go in there. Well its the "boys" bathroom with magazines on the toilet, etc. He discovered the magazines and thought it was so fun to "read" on the toilet. Guess they learn young! Hahahahaha!!!

My projects...

I've been trying to get these carts re-finished before it gets too cold out for spray painting. The wilform cart is about half way done. Its finished with the black coat. I'll pinstrip it this week and then put a nice clear coat over it to protect the tape. Then on goes the patent leather, tires and hardware and the cart will be finished. The Jerald I just got done stripping the wood. The metal is stripped, but the stipper isn't working on the red paint. So I'll have to sand that completely off. But its coming along. I'm hoping I can sand it so it looks nice enough to be kept as a natural color cart. Its had a lot of damage done to it over the years. But they'll both look very nice when they are done.

We Got Gravel!!!

Woohoo! Mike's friend brought in some gravel from the Nucor plant in plymouth. Nice to have it extend all the way to the end of the driveway. We still need to get some more out front to finish from the lawn to the road, but it sure blends everything in for a good overall look.

Feeding Time

Here's Carver feeding his kitty. He does chores every day in the barn. Waters the horses, feeds his cat and cleans stalls. Hopefully he keeps up his enthusiam when he gets older! Hahahaha!

Trick or Treating....
