Carver got super spoiled this year by all his grandmas! We got him a cute leather chair, clothes and some movies.

Countertops Are In!!!

Woohoo! Mike spent the last couple days putting the tile on the countertops. He came up with a neat design to add glass tile to it (I LOVE glass tile). So that's finished. We still have to get our hood in and then Mike can finish tiling behind the stove. But its coming to an end. Mike said a day and a half more of work and we should be finished. Woohoo!!!

In Goes the Floor....

Woohoo! We got them laminant in today. Didn't think it would take all day, but it did. But its finally done! Paint finished. I have to go back with the white and touch up a few spots that bled, but it won't take long. Countertops should go in on Tuesday (Mike ended up having to work on Monday). But its finally taking shape!

Up Goes the Color!!!!

We got the color on today. These pics are just of the first coat. Mike finished up the rest of the painting. Looks really nice! :) Think it'll be a pretty color with everything once its all put together.

The Appliances Have Arrived!!!

Woohoo!!! The appliances arrived this morning! What a nice sight to what was in our house the past year!

More Kitchen Progress...

Well, Mike stripped it. Its being painted white as we speak! Woohoo! He'll be painting on and off through tomorrow. More waiting time through coats. Then hopefully color on fri or sat. on the upper wall. And here's pics of Carver helping tape up the windows. Of course, the windows are a lot lower to him! Hahaha!!!

Here's Carver helping with the kitchen remodel. We got him a black and decker tool set/work bench for his birthday this past year. So as soon as he seen daddy with his tools, he ran into his room and pulled his tools out so that he could help.

Kitchen Remodel...

So its officially started! The kitchen is now being remodeled. Mike has been gutting it the past couple days. He has new doors already built for the cabinets. We're going to use the existing body. But he's prepping it to paint and hopefully will have it painted white by tuesday. Then we can go through with color and hand paint.

What it takes to feed horses....

So this is what it takes to get horses fed in the winter. 20 minutes to get Carver and myself in our snow suits, plus get the 2 dogs in their sweaters. Then we are outside for 15 minutes of work and back in to get warm again. :)

Miniature Horse Christmas Party

We had out annual MWMHSPO Christmas party saturday. Had fun! Great to see all my friends since the last show. We came home with 5 first place awards and quite a few top tens. Carver had fun too playing with his Grandma Lou. :)

Cart Progress...

Mike helped me put the patent leather on the cart. Its about done. We ran out of tacks. So I'll have to put the patent leather on the singletree later. Just got to polish the basket and wheels. Then we have to figure out a way to get the seat attatched again. A couple bolts broke off inside as they were old and rusted. Think the guy at the hardware store gave us a good idea. Hopfully it works! :)

Where's Carver????

So this is like Where' Waldo. I was taking pics of our barn so that I can look back and see the improvements we've done. Carver tried his best to be in every shot. See if you can spot him.....
