I was home alone today. So I was trying to be good and I got the house dusted. Then said, I'm done. Out to play with ponies. I decided to hitch Paul up and take him out for a drive. He's one of those good old horses that will do anything. I haven't driven him since August of last year. And we went off like it was just yesterday. Here's a pic of my view driving him.

2010 National All Stars
My ponies did well this year. The All Star points are tabulated across the nation and are given to the top 10 horses in their division. My ponies came home with quite a few firsts in their divisions and I was quite happy about that! Shows I'm doing something right when it comes to training. Pooped out!
So while I was in the hospital, Carver was juggled between my sister and Mike's mom. Needless to say, the kid was worn out when he got home a week later. Here are pics my snapped of him on our living room floor. Carver's Snowman
Think we got some snow the first part of January. Mike and Carver built him a snowman and lots of baby snowman (who were later destroyed by Carver in a kicking match).My Absence...

Hospital bed about 3 days after they removed the bandage and morphine catheter:
So back in October, I passed out at work. This began a series of doctor visits, blood drawing and general prodding of all sorts. I have always suffered from headaches for years. Diagnosed 7 years ago with stress and depression. Lost all faith in doctors because I knew something else was wrong. I wasn't depressed. So I lived with the headaches and moved on with life. Until October when I was forced to revisit the issue. 1 MRI later, I was diagnosed with a moderate Type 1 Chiari Malformation. So in dumbness terms for the rest of us, my skull is essentially too small for my massively large brain. Guess I knew college must of pushed me over the edge with all that information. Hahahaha! But in reality, it was putting too much pressure on my brain stem, which handles my coordination and when the pressure starts, the headaches, passing out, etc. started. A lot of people have this condition and are born with it. For some reason, when the hit puberty, it flares up in some people. I was one of the lucky people. So all the doctor work later, surgery was scheduled for Jan 21st. Surgery is the only way to fix this issue. So 6 hours later, they had removed part of my skull to allow more room, patched my membrane, doped me up on pain meds and dropped me into ICU. I stayed at the University of Utah hospital for4 days and that was long enough for me. Made it home and have been sleeping and catching up on the boob tube ever since. Recovery is 6-8 weeks long. So I have a long road ahead of me, but here are some pics of my cool scar. My hair covers the shaved area. So I'm safe not trying to make this into a cool hair do.
